Mango is the king of fruits, and I am yet to meet a single person who doesn’t like this delicious and juicy fruit. We can always eat mango raw, but there are so many drinks that you can make using this delish fruit. For instance, you can make mango milkshake, Aam Panna, and Mango custard. But one drink that is appealing to many people these days is Mango iced tea.

It is the best-iced tea you will ever have, and why not? In India, two things are popular- Tea and Mango. Mix the two up, and you have the perfect summer drink.

So, I thought in this blog, I will share my favourite homemade mango iced tea recipe.

Perfect Summer Drink

This amazing drink is perfect for your party or brunch or even for those late-night chats with our friends. It’s also super simple to make, and I usually make a big jar and store in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Each sip of mango iced tea brings relief from the summer heat. In addition to its amazing flavour, it is also a healthy drink. But to ensure its healthiness, you need to use natural fruits or flavours to make it.

For example, you can go for peach, rose, lemon, apple, hibiscus, raspberry or the other as per your choice.

Best Iced Tea Recipe Using Fresh Mangoes

Mango iced tea is a refreshing summer tea with flavours of mangoes and tea. I am sure you must be wondering how to make this delicious mango tea? So, without further ado, let’s begin.

I used fresh Alphonso mangoes for making the mango mash. You can use any mango that you have access too. Steep the tea in hot water and later chilled. Add sugar or honey, and the tea will be ready.

Mango Iced Tea

For this home-made mango-iced tea first, make mango pulp and tea. Here are the steps:


Time: 15 Min

Ingredients:
  • 2 medium sized Alphonso Mangoes
  • 2 sp Tea (Use Normal Tea or Green Tea or even Matcha Tea)
  • 4 cups water
  • 3/4th sp Lemon Juice
  • A pinch of Black salt
  • Regular sugar or honey (if required)
  • Mint leaves-4-5 
  • Lemon slices for garnishing
How to make mango tea?

Step 1: Heat water and add the tea powder.

Step 2: Sieve the tea powder and Keep the tea in the fridge for 30 minutes. Remove the tea from the fridge once it cools down.

Step 3: Pour the tea in the blender jar, add mango pulp, Sugar and Lemon Juice. Blend to a smooth puree. If requires to add more.

Step 4: Place some ice cubes in a serving glass or a Jar. Pour the mango-iced tea into it, and garnish it with mint leaves or mango or lemon slices.


It is a perfect summer drink and sipping it in this scorching heat is the perfect way to chill!

  1. For making Lemon Iced Tea can I use 3 cups of water and 2 black tea bags?
    What is the quantity of lemons required for it?Would the procedure remain the same?
